On Friday 5th September, Women in Timber held their inaugural event at the beautiful Oulton Hall – and what a day it was !
We were joined by 120 incredible women from across the timber industry. The event provided a unique opportunity to hear from a number of inspiring speakers, share personal experiences and connect with like-minded professionals in a truly empowering environment.
A highlight of the day was the raffle in support of the Timber Trades’ Benevolent Society featuring some fantastic prizes. Thanks to the generosity of attendees and those who donated prizes, an amazing total of £2,760 was raised – funds that will go directly toward supporting TTBS beneficiaries and making their lives that little bit easier.
Our heartfelt thanks go to Laura Qualters and the Women in Timber committee for organising such a defining event. We’re proud to be part of a growing and supportive community of women making their mark in the timber industry.
