As we have previously NEWS FLASHED!!, we have recently partnered with BHSF.
We would like to highlight the services they can offer to our beneficiaries:
Financial / debt advice – this includes advice on State benefits that may be payable to an applicant.
Legal advice – should a beneficiary have a legal issue they can speak to an advisor at Irwin Mitchell – one of the UK’s leading law firms – for free advice. This includes consumer, neighbour, property disputes, personal injury cases and employment queries.
Confidential counselling – a 24/7 helpline operates. Beneficiaries can speak to a trained APPT approved counsellor – FOC. This can cover any issues that are ‘keeping them awake at night’ – whether it be due to debt, unpaid bills, etc. They can also advise on mental health issues.
GP helpline – Health Hero provide qualified doctors who will carry out an online appointment – FOC. Partners living in the same house would also have access to this service. The only thing to remember is that if a private prescription is issued, in some cases this will be more expensive than a NHS prescription albeit in many cases the charge is actually lower !
Should you feel a timber colleague would benefit from one of the above services, please contact Christella by any of the following methods:-

Call: 07767723666
Email: info@ttbs.org.uk
If eligible a helpline number / link will be provided, once the beneficiary contacts the helpline they will determine which services the applicant requires. We do have a limited number of ‘passes’ so cannot offer it to everyone at this stage but you should always make contact as there are many things we can do to help.
