We had 24 teams competing for the Geoff Leafe Trophy, a competition that has been running for nearly 30 years now.
We were blessed with glorious sunshine all day, and given the amount of rainfall the area has been subjected to, the course itself was in immaculate condition.
The event was sponsored by Jordeson Timber, whose team are seen here, on the first tee.

100 players and guest then sat down for a 2 course dinner, expertly delivered by Brough Golf club.
After a fiercely contested event, Hawthorn Timber, lead by Scott Laughton triumphed with a respectable 88 points.Scott was presented with the Trophy, from Simon Leafe, Geoff’s Son. Scott thanked all those players who took part and the sponsors for their generous donations, in raising £3,000 for TTBS funds.
Next years event has been booked for the 6th May 2025.
